Meet five week old baby, Jago. I had been talking to his mother Jane for months, anxiously awaiting his arrival and thrilled once I saw on Facebook that the precious little man had been born. When they asked me to photograph him at five weeks, I was ecstatic. As a mother myself, photographing babies has got to be one of my favourite parts of my job. I love watching families grow, and capturing children as they grow too. Another aspect that I just am completely enamoured by is the love that's involved when you have a child. The way that mom and dad look at their new baby boy, and how everything in that moment is perfect.
